Why do girls seem to cling to this female culture despite desiring to rise above it. I don't see a future scientist or professional business woman when girls walk around with make up and short skirts. Why do they do it?
I had an Economics class yesterday. Day after day this girl would sit a few rows behind me and talk about how she was going to drop out and have her boyfriend who's about ten years older than her take care of her as she resigns herself to a home maker. Is this the standard today's girls set for themselves? Men and women should have the same standards in my opinion.

Hell, a whole curriculum should be devoted to these worthless drains on society. Why do they need Algebra II when they'd be better of in "Hairstyling 101"? It's sad that this is the standard some women set for themselves. I'm not making general statements about women. There are women I genuinely respect as colleagues and equals. It's these women who insist on degrading themselves to fit in with this "culture". Pick up a pen, not a tube of lipstick. Read a book (except for Twilight) not "Seventeen Magazine" that aren't worth the matter they're composed of.
